Mykonos is famous for its sandy, long golden beaches with crystal waters as well as for the pulsating beach bars

The island offers great beaches for all kind of needs. Whether you are looking for swimming, beach bars, beach parties, luxury sunbeds, fine dining or water sports, Mykonos is the ideal choice. Below there is an indicative list of some of the most beautiful beaches on the island.

Paradise Beach - The place to be for young people to dance on the sand from sunset to sunrise.

Super Paradise Beach - A smaller beach that is great for sunbathing and swimming by day, and great music from the afternoon onwards.

Ornos Beach - Away from the pumping beats, visit this beach on family holidays to Mykonos and enjoy the safe swimming and stunning views.

Elia Beach - A favorite crowd beach including a chilled-out nudist area, which is secluded from the main beach.

Psarou Beach - The place to feel fancy as you lounge right next to a luxury mall and a posh superclub. This beach is very popular among celebrities.

Kalafati Beach - A long, pebbly beach where you can try out all kinds of water activities, including windsurfing and snorkeling.

PanormosBeach - is a calm beach resort on the northern side of Mykonos. Peaceful and sandy, Panormos offers a nice alternative for relaxing.

Merchia beach - is located on the northeast part of Mykonos 12 km from the city and remains authentic, with a small bay, golden sand, clear deep water and some trees. It is ideal for travelers seeking the alternative side of Mykonos. To the right of Merchia beach, there is a picturesque small chapel of Agios Nikolaos and Tragomantra beach, another rough diamond of Mykonos.

Paraga Beach -A relatively small beach, Paraga is one of Mykonos' most popular. It is within walking distance of the Paradise beach and has trendy beach clubs. The water is shallow and inviting, and the bay is protected from the summer winds that can affect other beaches. It’s worth staying till sunset.

Kalo Livadi Beach  - is located in the south of Mykonos, between Elia beach and Kalafatis beach. Kalo Livadi is one of the largest and most popular beach on the island. Endless, sandy beach with turquoise crystal clear waters.

...Also there are many other beautiful beaches on the island which are great for water sports and families.
